CIO Forum & Executive
IT Summit was launched at the demand of CIO’s and executive
IT leaders who need comprehensive, focused technology
forums in their regions. The CIO Forum & Executive
IT Summit is an educational and interactive product
for IT professionals. The summit content is driven by
regional leaders for the purpose of benefiting regional
economies, and the corporate, educational, healthcare,
government, and finance communities. These forums are
by invitation only, and offer "cutting-edge technology
resources for the executive participants to deploy end-to-end
solutions within their organizations.

Established in 1968, the Society
for Information Management (SIM) is a not-for-profit world-wide
professional association comprised of Information Technology
(IT) leaders, including CIOs, CTOs, Directors and other key
professionals within the IT community. SIM members represent
a range of organizations, including business, consulting,
and the academic community. SIM provides its diverse membership
with the unique opportunity to pool their insights, the result:
access to international IT perspectives, continuing professional
development opportunities and an elite network of peer resources.
The North Carolina SIM Chapter,
working closely with SIM International, fosters management
education, best practices and sharing among IT leaders working
in North Carolina. We acheive this through periodic meetings,
dinners, conferences and company sponsored visits and tours.
