Since 1975, BDPA has served as an invaluable bridge between the community and the information technology industry. BDPA is committed to delivering programs and services for the professional well being of its members, strategic partners, the information technology industry and bridging the "digital divide" in African American communities. The Cleveland Ohio Chapter was founded by Norman R. Mays in 1980 and was accepted as the third member of the national organization in March 1980. Today, this national non-profit organization encompasses 55 local chapters serving thousand members across the U.S.
