| The CIO & Executive IT Summit provided a relaxed, yet professional atmosphere to network among senior IT peers and invited vendors. The event balanced headline keynotes with sessions detailing "real world" implementations and experiences. The summit created synergy among my senior staff which led to innovative ideas and solutions long after the closing session. |

| I have been a GMIS member since 2005 and I have attended the CIO Forum and Executive IT Summit in Cleveland, Ohio in 2006 and 2007. I have found this event to be an invaluable opportunity to network with my IT colleagues in business, government, and academics. The sessions are extremely informative and most relevant to the challenging IT issues we face as IT professionals. I highly recommend that GMIS members consider attending the CIO Forum and Executive IT Summit event in their area to take advantage of the tremendous opportunity to learn, network with colleagues, and meet with vendors.

| The CIO Forum offers direct contact with other C.I.O.s in the field. Sharing in the benefits of new ideas and experiences that can be can be difficult to acquire in any other way. The CIO Forum means belonging to a group of like-minded individuals joined together for the purpose of advancing their knowledge and skills, their careers and their profession thereby helping to assure their organizations will succeed in the new global economy driven by technology. The Peer Networking opportunity is one of the greatest benefits that would be hard to duplicate through other avenues. The annual conference provides the means to deliver much of that knowledge on topics identified by the group as relevant and provides the time in the actual agenda to do peer networking. |

| "I have now attended four CIO Forums in Raleigh and will continue to attend them. The sessions are super and I really enjoy being able to network with my peers from the private sector. The vendors are great and just the right numbers. The conferences are very organized and flow smoothly."

| "I have participated in many IT events over the years and found that the CIO Forum was a unique event in that it focuses on pragmatic discussions of real IT issues. The mix of Commercial, State and Federal Government IT leaders provides multiple views and approaches to critical issues facing IT managers." |

| The CIO Forum and Executive IT Summit was both relevant and highly informative. The topics focused on both day-to-day and strategic issues faced by Senior-level IT Managers. A significant collateral benefit of the Forum was the peer networking opportunity. I look forward to next years event!!
