| Mr. Julian retired in 2002 as Sr. Vice President and CIO of Crown Cork & Seal, where he served 11 consecutive years. Crown is the world’s premier manufacturer of metals and plastics packaging with $8 billion annual revenue. His responsibilities included establishing, directing, and implementing computing, telecommunications, and e-business strategies worldwide. Prior to Crown, he was a Principal at Laventhol & Horwath, the seventh largest accounting firm in the United States, his responsibilities in the Information Technology consulting division included securing, leading, and installing technology in the Greater New York corridor. |
| Peter also served from 1986-90 as CIO of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), the largest public transportation service in the United States including 70,000 employees and $5 billion annual operations costs. Major agencies included New York City subways, Long Island RR, Metro North RR and TBTA. His responsibilities included directing, managing and coordinating all MTA and related agency computing requirements, emphasizing capital and other transportation system solutions. |
| He began his career at Union Carbide in 1968 and remained until 1986. Union Carbide was an international producer of various commodity chemicals and consumer products with $11 billion annual revenues. His responsibilities included tactical and strategic planning utilizing computing as a tool for both plant and corporate management. |
| Peter holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Pace University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Niagara University. |

Mr. Julian served as the Co-Chair of the Mayor’s E-Commerce Commission, City of Philadelphia, where he was instrumental in recruiting 500 technology professionals to careers within the City of Philadelphia.

Julian is now President & CEO of his own consulting firm, TAG – The Alliance Group, where he specializes in advising clients in tactical and strategic IT initiatives. He also is the National Co-Conference Director of the CIO Forum & Executive IT Summit as well as adjunct professor at LaSalle University where he develops/teaches It courses in the Graduate program. Mr Julian is also often engaged by CIO’s in transition assisting them in locating suitable positions.

He is an active member of the Society for Information Management (SIM), the largest organization of CIO’s in the country. He serves on the Computing Advisory Boards of LaSalle University, Holy Family College, and Villanova University. He serves on the Board of Directors for Carelift International and Longview Consulting Services.
