Michael L. Pellegrino
Vice President, Information Technology
Fujifilm U.S.A., Inc.

Mike Pellegrino is responsible for leading the Information Technology department for Fujifilm U.S.A., Inc., the US-based subsidiary of imaging and information leader Fujifilm Co. Ltd. in Japan.
In his role, Pellegrino provides strategic direction and oversees development and support of all computer applications and infrastructure that integrate and support various businesses. In addition, he is leading the effort to provide core application support for other Fujifilm companies in North America.
Prior to joining Fujifilm in 2004, Pellegrino spent more than 18 years in a variety of business and technical managerial roles at divisions of Unilever USA, including IT Director for customer and channel and brand development, Director of integration and Service Development for the global infrastructure team. Additionally, he served three years as lead audit manager to help assess risk, plan and audit programs for various businesses located worldwide, and implemented many business systems across operations.
A resident Connecticut, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. He is currently the President of the Fairfield/Westchester Chapter Society for Information Management, and is an advisor on the CIBETL Board for the University of Bridgeport Schools of Business and Engineering.


Norman J. Jacknis
CIO & Commissioner, Westchester County

Norman J. Jacknis was appointed Westchester County's first Chief Information Officer in January 1998. As the County's Information Technology Commissioner, he directs all of the County Government’s technology efforts, including all computer systems, desktop/office computing, the several hundred mile, high speed data network, phone, cell, video and radio communications, geographical information systems, the County's web presence and E-government activities, multi-media, graphics/design, and the records and archives center. His department also provides these services to municipalities and other non-profit community organizations.
In addition to his position as Westchester’s CIO, Dr. Jacknis serves as one of the few local government CIO’s on the New York State CIO Council, where he is also co-chair of the Technology Committee that sets the standards and architecture for the State. He represents the County Executives of America on technology issues at the Federal level and is a member of the national Partnership for Intergovernmental Innovation.
Under his leadership, Westchester County’s IT Department has won numerous awards, including the Center for Digital Government’s top ten digital counties in the country and American City & County's Crown Communities Award for technology. Last year, Government Technology Magazine selected him as one of the nation’s “Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers who, using technology … broke bureaucratic inertia to better serve the public“ – a list which included not just technology leaders, but governors as well.
He received his Doctorate, Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Princeton University. Before taking his current position, Dr. Jacknis held a variety of executive positions in the computer software industry. For the few years prior to becoming CIO, he specialized in enterprise-scale computing and distributed (especially Internet-based) systems. He was Managing Director for enterprise middleware software products purchased by both IBM and Microsoft. Dr. Jacknis' technical skills cover a wide range of computer languages, platforms, protocols.
Dr. Jacknis has also been very active in community affairs. Among other activities, he is President of the Fairfield-Westchester Chapter of the Society for Information Management (a national association of senior IT executives), President of the New York State Association of Library Boards, past President of the Westchester Library System, Chairman of the Westchester Alliance for Telecommunications and Public Access (the local Internet society and a part of the Congressional Internet Caucus Advisory Committee), member of the boards of the Volunteer Center of United Way, the Friends of Westchester Parks, the Westchester County Historical Society, the NY Metro Library Council and the Regents Advisory Council on Libraries as well as a past board member of the New York State Forum on Information Resources Management.

Mr. Muller is a respected global expert on IT business strategy, leadership, and organization development. Mr. Muller's concepts and programs have been used successfully by many corporations worldwide to improve executive performance, enhance collaboration, elevate the role of IT, and align strategy across the CXX/LOB (Line of Business) suite. Mr. Muller's previous clients include IBM, Gartner Group, Ernst & Young, Meta Group, and Applera.
