Gregory S. Archer (Greg)
Vice President, Corporate IT Services Premier, Inc.

Greg is the Vice President of Corporate IT Services at Premier, Inc. During his 15 years with Premier, he also also worked in Strategic Planning, Corporate Administration, and Corporate Communications. Greg led Premier's IT department when they insourced their IT operations, and he is currently leading efforts to consolidate Premier's IT operations into Charlotte, including its Data Centers. Greg is also responsible for the development and operation of Premier's customer, partner, and staff Web sites. Greg was the director of planning, managing the day-to-day operations of planning and management team support. He helped lead the development of the Medicare Risk And PSO Tool Kit; the implementation and research for Premier's first operational websites; and the implementation of Premier's first business planning and budgeting process. Greg was also the director of corporate administration, where he coordinated planning activities for SunHealth. Among his accomplishments in that role were two initiatives - a patient satisfaction program and a program to support community health needs assessments. He is the primary author of The Action Kit for Assessing Community Health Needs and Resources. He received his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Health Administration from Duke University.
